In this Blog I will be continuing with Star Wars and will be going over the show The Mandalorian. Again, no images will be in this blog. Thank you for your understanding. Let's begin.
In the start of this show you see a Mandalorian holding out some kind of tracker. He puts it in his pocket and walks toward a town. He walks into a club and this guy that was just harassing another person in the club tells the Madnalorian in a foreign language, he spilled his drink. The Mandalorian ignores him. so the guy goes right up behind the Mandalorian and repeats himself. And another person says he says you spilled his drink. Then the same guy says it's fine because it is on him. Then the bully asks the Mandalorian if that is Beskar Steel. They start brawling. One of the bad guys gets cut in half by the closing door.
Mythrol, the guy that was getting bullied when the Mandalorian came into the bar, tells the Mandalorian. Thank you very much. He tells the Mandalorian to take his credits and buy himself a drink. The Mandalorian puts a bounty puck down on the table and it lights up with Mythrols image. Mythrol tells the Mandalorian ther must have been a mistake. The Mandalorian says, I can bring you in warm, or I can bring you in cold and he touches his gun.
The next scene is the Mandalorian and Mythrol, in handcuffs, walking. They get a speeder and are taken to his ship. The speeder speeds away but is eaten by a Ravinak. The Mandalorian and Mythrol get into the ship just in time but the ship is dammaged by a Ravinak. The Ravinak is holding onto one of the legs of the ship and dragging it down while the Mandalorian is trying to take off. He goes back down and shocks the giant beast and is able to get away.
Mythrol is looking around and says I like your ship. Razor crest, right? Pre-Empire? And keeps trying to make small talk with the Mandalorian who does not say a word. Then Mythrol says he needs to use the vacc tube. Mythrol goes to look for the vacc tube and actually is looking around the ship. He finds where the other bounties have been frozen and the Mandalorian appears behind Mythrol and freezes him with the others. Mandalorian lands the ship on some planet and walks to talk to someone in another club.
The guy he meets says to the Mandalorian that was fast and asks if he had got them all. The Mandalorian puts down the tracker looking things down. The other guy puts some credits on the table. The Mandalorian says, those are Imperile Credits. The other guy says they still spend. The Mandalorian says, I don't know if you heard but the Empire is gone. The guy offers him Calamary Flan instead saying he can only pay half. The Mandalorian takes the Calamary Flan as payment for the bounty instead. While the Mandalorian and the guy are talking they are taking the bounty off his ship.
The Mandalorian is asking for the highest paying job. There is no puck or chain code with this job and it is face to face. He takes the job and the chip he is given and goes walking through the streets. He stops and bangs on a door. He shows the chip and is let in. He is led to a room that has Storm troopers in it and a guy says, Greef Karga said you were coming. Dr. Pershing comes in and the Mandalorian arms himself and is on guard. He is asked to lower his blasters. The Mandalorian tells the storm troopers to lower theirs first. One of the storm troopers say we have you 4 to 1. The Mandalorian replies with, I like those odds. He is asked to sit. The guy offers Beskar as down payment for the job. He is offered a lot more for the Asset delivered alive or there is an option of termination with proof for a lower fee. They cannot give a puck only the tracking fob and he is only given the last 4 digits of the chain code. They also give him the last location of the Asset.
The Mandalorian goes walking through the streets and goes into a building. There you see other Mandalorians. He goes to see their Armorer. He places the Calamary Flan down and the Beskar.
The Armorer says that the Beskar was gathered in the great purge. She asks the Mandalorian if his signet has been revealed and he says not yet. The Armorer melts the Beskar as she is making the shoulder plate for the Mandalorian you see flashes from his past. He is being carried by his parents and they are running from something. There are people being shot and there is fire. The parents hide him underground and shut the door. The armorer replaces the shoulder plate and the Mandalorian is off in his ship.
He is using the tracker fob to find his bounty. He gets attacked by a blurgg. After a bit of brawling with the blurgg you see it get electrocuted. And another one comes running at him and you see that one get electrocuted too. And now you realize he was shot by someone. And then you see it's a little guy on one of the blurggs that attacked the Mandalorian.
The little guy asks the Mandalorian if he is a bounty hunter. He answers yes and the little guy says, I'll help you. The next scene they are at the little guys encampment and the little guy says there have been many searching for the one you search for. They have all died. The Mandalorian is like, I don't think I want your help then. The little guy says, you do. All he wants in payment is half the blurgg that he helped catch because the Mandalorian will need one to ride. The Mandalorian explained he doesn't know how to ride a blurgg.
The next scene is the Mandalorian trying to learn how to ride a blurgg. The Mandalorian gets annoyed and says, I don't have time for this. Don't you have a speeder for hire? The little guy says you're a Mandalorian! Your ancestors rode the great Mythos air. Surely you can ride this young foal. The Mandalorian tries again talking to the blurgg and this time is able to ride it. Then they both go off to find the encampment. They reach the encampment and the Mandalorian tries to pay the little guy.
The little guy says, Since they have arrived it has been an endless sea of mercenaries seeking reward and bringing destruction. The Mandalorian says, “Then why do you bring me here?” The little guy says, “They do not belong here. Those that live here come to seek peace. There will be no peace until they leave here.” The Mandalorian says, “Then why do you help?” The little guy says, “I have never met a Mandalorian before. I’ve only read the stories. If they are true, you will make quick work of it. Then there will again be peace. I have spoken.” Then he turns and leaves.
The Mandalorian squats down at the cliff and uses a scope to better assess the situation. He sees a bounty droid approaching the guards and the Mandalorian says, oh no. Bounty droid. The bounty droid tells them to give up the asset and one of the guards tries to shoot the droid and the droid ends up killing all of the guards.The Mandalorian tells the droid to stand down and that he is in the guild. He shows the tracking fob. The droid says I thought I was the only one on assignment. The Mandalorian said that makes two of us. So much for the element of surprise. Then the droid says, Sadly, I must ask for your fob. I have already issued the writ of seizure. The bounty is mine. The Mandalorian says, Unless I am mistaken, you are, as of yet, empty-handed. The droid says, this is true. The Mandalorian suggests they split the reward and the droid accepts. The Mandalorian is telling the droid they need to formulate a plan out of harms way. The droid keeps talking and more guards come and start shooting again. While the two are shooting the guards they figure out what building the asset is in. They end up pinned down and the droid starts to initiate self-destruct mode as part of the manufacturers protocol. The Mandalorian tells the droid, Do not self-destruct and to cover him. The Mandalorian tries to hot wire the door and these guards come out with this giant automatic gun. The droid says, I will initiate self-destruct. The Mandalorian says, Do not self-destruct! We’re shooting our way out. They step out from the column and the Mandalorian says, Ok. New plan. The droid says, Beginning self-destruct count down. Frustrated the Mandalorian says, No! Stop it! And the tells the droid to draw their fire so he can take out the automatic gun. The droid says, acceptable.
They split up and the droid took heavy fire while the Mandalorian was able to shoot a wire towards the gun, hook it and spin it away from the gunman and shot the gunman. He took over the automatic gun and killed all the guards.The droid said, well done. I will disengage self-destruct initiative. After doing a diagnostic check the droid is ok and the Mandalorian says, now to just figure out how to get the door open. They both turn their heads and look at the automatic gun. They use it to blast the doors and kick it down. They find the asset. The Mandalorian opens the carrier and sees a baby. He tells the droid, wait they said the asset was 50 years old. The droid says different species age differently. The Mandalorian says, He is supposed to bring it in alive and the droid says, “The commission was quite specific. The asset was to be terminated” and raised his gun. The camera focuses on the Mandalorian and you hear a shot and then the droid falls. You see the Mandalorian stick his finger towards the baby (that looks like yoda) and the baby reaches its hand towards the Mandalorian. And that is how it ends. I am excited to see what happens with this baby yoda.
In the opening scene you see sand and a cute lizard. The lizard runs away and you see a foot and see the Mandalorian walking with the child in a carrier floating next to him. The yoda looking child is looking around as they walk. There are curious lizards following them and watching them. They scatter.The Mandalorian stops walking and looks around there is a shadow. The Mandalorian grabs his gun and something jumps down off a cliff. They start fighting. Now there are tow more and they are all fighting. One goes running towards the child and the Mandalorian shoots him. We see a tracking fob on the ground. There are more bounty hunters still after this child.
In the next scene you see the Mandalorian by a campfire and he's using this tool to help close up a wound. He is grunting because of the pain. The child is watching him. You see the child get up and start walking towards the Mandalorian. The Mandalorian sees the child there with his hand reaching out and straining and he gasps. He picks the child up and puts him back in his carrier. Then the Mandalorian goes and sits down and starts fixing this metal plate with wired. You hear the child coo and the Mandalorian gasps because the child is there again with his arm stretched out towards the Mandalorian. The Mandalorian picks him back up and puts him in his carrier and looks at him for a second and then touches something on his wrist and it closes the carrier.
The Mandalorian is walking with the child in the floating carrier. You hear some shouting and the Mandalorian approaches a cliff and squats down to see what’s going on. You see Jawa’s raiding and stripping his ship. He starts to shoot at them, and they run into their sand crawler and drive off with the Mandalorian chasing after it. He shoots after this part on the sand crawler, and it seems to slow down so he chases after it and is able to jump up on it. The Jawa see him climbing up the crawler and communicate with the driver who then veers the sand crawler towards a giant boulder. The Mandalorian is able to get out of the way just in time. He got up the ladder and lay flat against the sand crawler and avoided being crushed. The Jawas see this and start throwing stuff at him trying to knock him off. The Mandalorian continues to climb the sand crawler and he gets to a window that has a Jawa in it. The Jawa shuts the window as the Mandalorian puts his hand on the ledge. He gets his hand shut in the window and pulls it out and looks like he's going to fall. He is holding on with one hand and swinging around. He swings himself with his arm up and shoots a rope that wraps around something high up on the crawler and he starts climbing up the crawler. The Jawas continue to throw stuff at the Mandalorian. The Jawas are also coming out of the windows with tasers and tase the Mandalorian as he is climbing. After he gets tased he swings and kicks one of the Jawas carrying a taser. He is almost to the top of the crawler and a Jawa opens a window and looks out. The Mandalorian grabs him and throws him out the window. He continues to climb. The Jawas start to hit the part of the crawler the rope is wrapped around, and they get it to break off. Somehow the Mandalorian was able to grab on to the top of the crawler before it broke off. You see a Jawa walking to the edge to see if the Mandalorian fell and the Mandalorian grabs the Jawa and throws him off the top. He goes to attack them and is shot with this electric gun, and he flies off the top of the crawler sparking with electric energy.
In the next scene you see the Mandalorian lying there, and the child is there looking at him and there is no crawler in site. The Mandalorian finally sits up grunting and looks in the direction the crawler was going. The child is still looking at him.
In the next scene you see the Mandalorian walking towards his stripped ship. When he is inside, he opens a panel and there is all this electricity crackling. The Mandalorian sees the panel is empty and he slams the doors shut. The Mandalorian walks through the ship looking at the damage. He goes into the cockpit and tries to start the ship and it powers back down. He walks through the ship and sits down and sighs. He sees the child climbed out of the floating carrier. He picks him up and takes him back to the carrier and he starts walking off with the carrier following him. They walk for a long time. They come back to Kuiil’s house. The guy that helped him find where the child was in return for a blurrg. Kuiil says, I thought you were dead.
In the next seen Kuiil is doing something and the child is trying to get a frog like creature. He whimpers because he wants to catch it. Kuiil says, this is what was causing all the fuss? The Mandalorian said, I think it is a child. Kuiil says, It is better to deliver it alive then. The Mandalorian said, My ship has been destroyed. I am trapped here. Kuiil says, stripped, not destroyed. The Jawas steal, they do not destroy. Kuiil is walking around as he says that and gets a tool and hands it to the Mandalorian who is fixing something on his arm. The Mandalorian responds with, Stolen or destroyed, makes no difference to me. They are protected by their crawling fortress. You see the child still chasing after the frog. The Mandalorian continues, There’s no way to recover the parts. You see the child jump and finally capture the frog. Kuiil says, you can trade. The Mandalorian says, With Jawas? Are you out of your mind? Kuiil says, I will take you to them. I have spoken. Then you see the child with the frog in its mouth and the Mandalorian says, Hey! Spit that out. The child gulps the frog down. He laughs and burps. The Mandalorian shakes his head.
In the next scene, Kuiil is on a blurrg that is guiding a floating big thing with the Mandalorian sitting on top of it. It is nighttime. Now it is daytime, and you see the Jawas out of their crawler and they see Kuiil and start talking to one another. Kuiil shouts, Greetings! They see the Mandalorian and grab guns. Kuiil says, They really don’t like you for some reason. The Mandalorian says, well, I did disintegrate some of them. Kuiil tells him, you need to drop your rifle. The Mandalorian responds with, I’m a Mandalorian. Weapons are part of my religion. Kuiil says, then you are not getting your parts back. The Mandalorian sighs and says, fine and puts the rifle down. One of the Jawas says something in his language and point to his gun. Kuiil turns to the Mandalorian and says, and the blaster. The Mandalorian sighs. Kuiil walks towards the Jawas saying, Good day. Then he starts talking to the Jawas in their language. The Mandalorian drops his gun on the thing he was riding in.
Kuiil and the Mandalorian are invited to sit with the Jawas and talk about the trades. Kuiil says, they will trade all the parts for the Beskar. The Mandalorian says, Im not going to trade them anything. These are my parts. They stole them from me. The Jawa says something and then the Mandalorian says in Jawa, they, they belong to me. The Jawas laugh and one of them says in Jawa, You speak terrible Jawa. You sound like a Wookiee. The Mandalorian gets angry and says, do you understand this, and uses his fire shooter and the Jawas yell. Kuiil shouts, Whoa, easy. Easy and grabs the Mandalorian’s arm to get him to stop shooting fire at them. Kuiil tells the Jawas He is a Mandalorian. He cannot give you his Beskar armor. What else may he trade? The Jawa points to the Child. Which causes the Mandalorian to see some Jawas by the child. He yells, get away from it. Kuiil says, There must be something else. The Jawas gather around and talk, and they say, The egg. Kuiil put his head in his hands and says the egg. The Jawas chant, the egg over and over.
In the next scene the Jawas are still chanting the egg and they are in the sand crawler with Kuiil, the child and the Mandalorian driving across the land. They get to a certain spot and the sand crawler door opens and the Mandalorian and child exit and start walking. After walking for a while they come to a cave. The Mandalorian checks his weapons and grabs his blaster and starts to walk into the cave alone. As he enters the cave you hear water dripping. It’s super dark so he turns his light on his helmet on. He sees giant bones on the ground. He kneels down and is looking around, and this beast opens its eye. Now the scene switched to the child, and you hear the blaster going off and see flashes of red light in the cave. You see the Mandalorian thrown out of the cave. His chest piece is hanging off and damaged. The Mudhorn is coming out of the cage and looks like a prehistoric rhinoceros. Its front tusk is a lot longer. The Mandalorian goes to shoot the Mudhorn with his rifle, but it's jammed. He is trying to get it unjammed when the Mudhorn charges at him and sends him flying. His rifle gets separated from him. The Mudhorn sees the child and starts going towards him. The Mandalorian does something on his wrist and flings his arm out and it sends the child flying out of the way. The Mudhorn hits the wall. The Mudhorn shakes its head and comes at the Mandalorian. He throws fire at the beast, but it crushes him with his tusk. The Mandalorian is still using his fire against the beast and when that runs out, he shoots it with the rope. The beast goes running off dragging the Mandalorian through the mud. The string breaks and the Mandalorian goes flying from the tusk of the beast. The Mandalorian is seriously hurt and just lying there, the child is watching on. The Mandalorian’s armor is falling apart and is crackling. The Mandalorian gets up and you can see he is weak and struggling. He gets this little knife out of his boot and he hold it out with both hands as the beast charges towards him. Then you see the child's little hand go out. The Mudhorn is still trying to run at the Mandalorian but is suspended in air and still trying to run. You see the child with his eyes closed and arm out straining. The Mandalorian is looking at him and what he is doing to the beast. The child passes out and the beast drops and the Mandalorian is able to stab his knife into its side before he is able to attack him. It is dead. The Mandalorian looks at the child and he's moving around a little bit but is sleeping.
The next scene you see the Mandalorian looking at a furry round thing. This must be the egg the Jawas we're talking about.
The next scene you hear the Jawas talking and Kuiil says just a little while longer. The Jawas are talking and Kuiil then says, fine go without me. They start raising the door and Kuiil sighs. He turns around and a second later sees the Mandalorian and yells, Mando! The door stops raising. The Mandalorian says, I have it. I've got the egg. The Jawas cheer in excitement and run towards Mando. They take the egg and walk off like it's a trophy and say the egg. Then one of them slices off the top of the egg and he dips his hand in and scoops out yellow yoke and eats it and says, the egg and they say, the egg and start eating it. The Mandalorian shakes his head and walks towards Kuiil.
The Mandalorian says, I'm surprised you waited. Kuiil says I'm surprised you took so long. They load his parts onto the cart and start traveling back to Kuiil’s. The child is still sleeping. Kill asks Mando, Is it still sleeping? The Mandalorian says, yes and rocks the floating carrier. Kuiil asks if the child was injured. The Mandalorian says, I don't think so. Not physically. Kuiil says, explain it to me again. I still don't understand what happened. The Mandalorian says, neither do I.
Then they are at the Mandalorian’s ship, and he says, there's no way we are going to get this to work without a full maintenance facility. It's going to take days to fix. Kill says, if you care to help, it will go faster. There is much work to do.
You watch them working on the ship. Fixing parts and soldering them back on. They test it and it powers on. The Mandalorian says, I can't thank you enough. Please allow me to give you a portion of the reward. Kuiil says, I cannot accept. You are my guest, and I am therefore in your service. The Mandalorian says, I can use a crew member of your ability and I can pay handsomely. I am honored but I have worked a lifetime to finally be free of servitude. The Mandalorian says, I understand. Then all I can offer is my thanks. Kuiil says, and I offer mine. Thank you for bringing peace to my valley. He walks off the ship and then says, and good luck with the child. And may it survive and bring you a handsome reward. I have spoken. The Mandalorian nods.
In the next scene the Mandalorian is going up front and getting ready to start the ship. He powers it up and Kuiil waves. He takes off and Kuiil watches as he leaves. The child is still sleeping. The Mandalorian shakes the carrier a few times and he continues to sleep. The Mandalorian turns around and continues to fly the ship. You see the child finally wake up and that's the end of this episode. This episode was crazy. You see that the Yoda child is like Yoda and uses the force and that he's powerful for being so small. I can't wait to see what's next.
